Mitsui Placed First Overall in the 18th Toyo Keizai Corporate CSR Rankings

Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) ranked first overall in the 18th Corporate CSR Rankings* announced on February 5, 2024 by Toyo Keizai Inc. ("Toyo Keizai").

To address important social issues, Mitsui will continue to communicate with its diverse stakeholders, work to foster trust, and contribute to the development of a sustainable society by maximizing Mitsui & Co. group's management base, assets, and human resources.

*The aim of Toyo Keizai's Corporate CSR Rankings is to make a comprehensive evaluation of trustworthy companies from the perspectives of their corporate social responsibility and financial performance. Companies are assessed from four perspectives: empowerment of human resources; the environment; corporate governance & social engagement; and financial performance (profitability, soundness, and scale). This year, a total of 1,714 companies were reviewed.
